FAQ

About the Site:
Who are you?
I'm just a fan of Korean Music. Again, I'm not an expert in musicality or anything, I'm just a regular person, with regular hopes and dreams, who wants to share my passion about Korean Songs  through Kpop Reviews. If you want to know more about me or the site in general just visit the About KpopReviews page.

Can you understand korean?
I have a very very basic grasp of the language, and can read characters if you give me a 60 minute time limit :) I'm working on it though.

I usually rely on song translations, to be able to understand the songs that I review.

A free blog host and a free layout template, really???
Well, I'm just doing this as a hobby so I haven't gotten around really doing a layout. I'll see what I can do about it though.

About the Song Reviews:

Is there a way for you to host a music file of the song that you reviewed?

I would not host the music file simply because it might lead to the death of this blog. There are actually plenty of other people who do it though, so just try google or any other search engine.

How do you get the songs for your reviews?
Sometimes, I buy albums if they are available in the country where I am from. They are usually the more recent ones such as SS501, BigBang, 4minute, 2pm and the like. However, since the Kpop scene has just recently grown in my country, I used to have a very limited selection. My other cd's such as H.O.T., BoA, S, came from Hong Kong which at that time already had a thriving Kpop Scene.

I also watch a lot of Music Bank, Pops in Seoul and Channel V to listen to some new kpop songs. Youtube also helps a lot when I want to hear songs repeatedly to make a good review for it.

Really? You don't Download songs?
I actually do, but I try to do it in the most legal ways. The legal way meaning downloading digital singles with fees, or waiting for some sites to offer free legal downloads like how Melon SKT is currently doing it. In fact, I got CN Blue's - I'm  a Loner of off it.

As much as possible try to support Kpop by saying no to piracy :) As for those who download... well it ain't right... but I understand :P

Can you please review this song?
Well, as I said I'm not a very good person to ask when it comes to musicality and the like, but if you want to know my opinion on it, then you can just send me an email containing your song requests. Just send an email to kpopreviews[at]gmail.com with the subject Review Request Song Artist - Song Title.

Of course, it would also depend on the availability of the song. It would be hard to review a song if I don't have access to it?

You suck and I disagree with your review, how can I express my disappointment?
I believe that everyone is entitled to their opinion, so you can just tell me just how much I suck through the comments section for each blog post. Note though that the comments area is moderated, I'm doing this because there are plenty of spammers who would take advantage of a free for all comment system.

You suck and I disagree with your review, in fact I can do better than that! How can I send you my own Kpop song reviews?
Actually, I would feel quite happy if people would send out their song reviews. You can just email your reviews to me. Send them to kpopreviews[at]gmail.com with the subject format being "The Song's Artist - The song Title Review"
